The Gordon Biersch Brewery Restaurant is the modern-day brewpub. It retains the warm, fun, comfortable feel of a gathering place to enjoy fresh beer and great food. The modern-day décor, unique architecture, and menu are interesting, imaginative, and more upscale than that found in traditional brewpubs. Website

Title: bad service
Review: I've had better service before, service was bad, especially the front desk.

Title: can't understand the attraction
Review: I cannot understand why people keep going to this place; the beer is terrible! But I guess most people are used to BudMilCoors and wouldn't know esters and diacetyl from antifreeze. So go ahead and keep going there in droves, trend-following sheeple without tastebuds. That just means more room for me at the places with good beer!

Title: Awesome
Review: This was the best service I've ever had in San Diego. The bartenders were great and CC and Daryl kept my drinks full all night. Lots of fun!!

Title: GREAT brew AND food.
Review: Long time customers. NEVER dissappointed. If you don't have a GB close enough to visit... move. Blonde Bock is the best beer there is. The live music is great... the pizza baked on the hearth oven... absolutely incredible. Come for a quick draft... spend the evening.

Title: Bad Service
Review: I came in for lunch and asked for a table for two. The ladies at the front said there was no table available at this time, they didn't even wrote my name down the waiting list, even if I asked, they just said to go to the bar if I wanted service. A couple of minutes passed, I stood behind the ladies to wait for my friend, no customers came out, 2 white guys came in and got a table without reservation right away, then 3 white ladies got a table immediately. I started to complain while I was denied a table, they finally gave me a table, all the way in the back. I felt discriminated, I thought we are over this years ago. I'm never going back there again.

Title: Great
Review: I come here often and am always satisfied with their service, beer and food. They have a wide selection of food -- something to please everyone. I love their salmon and goat cheese salad. They also have a full bar, for those who don't like beer.

Title: Great beer & great food
Review: Went here for lunch while shopping in Mission Valley. What a nice surprise! Excellent service and reasonable prices. The beer is EXCELLENT. The amber was our favorite, with the dark unfiltered wheat beer a close second. I had the turkey sandwich on focaccia. Really good, but the focaccia could have used a light toasting, and I couldn't taste the gorgonzola. My boyfriend's grilled ham & cheese was perfection. We'll be going back.
